Bond Day Trading
I received a couple emails over the weekend asking if Trading Grail(r) worked with the 30 year bond markets… IN a word : YES!!
Trading Grail is great on the Emini markets, Forex markets, and Bond Markets - 30 year or 10 year. Take a look at the bond chart below. This is the 30 year (USM08). This is Friday May 16, 2008.
in 2 hours we had 4 trades, day trades! The first trade was a short with a fill around 116′14.5 - using the trailing stop feature of Trading Grail(r) we were stopped out at 116′07.0 for a very nice profit! Most day traders would be done right there with a move like that!
If you continued, Trading Grail(r) had 2 losers after the first winner. Those 2 losers did take some of your profit but as you can see the 4th trade was incredible. A signal at or about 116′04.5. Using our Trailing Stop feature, you would be stopped out at 117′03.5 !!! That is just shy of a WHOLE POINT in the bond market. That is serious cash!
